Gender Roles: Projection, Desire and Internalized Oppression

Wednesday, June 6, 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM

@ The Process Work Institute 2049 NW Hoyt St, Portland, Oregon 97209

This is a monthly series exploring a diversity of patterns, dynamics and possible alternatives within the psyche. This is a place to understand what our beings are engaged with at a deeper level and discover how the tendencies we are currently enacting indicate a future path towards wholeness and liberation. JOIN THE MEETUP!
Gender Roles: Projection, Desire and Internalized Oppression

Maraya Karena will present a model describing how an individual’s gender socialization can show their core life myth themes, identity structures and what they are attracted to. We will map connections at the intersection of gender and sexuality as they relate to us personally and collectively. Then dive into an experiential activity designed to bring us into greater awareness of our wholeness and authentic expression of our desires.

For queers and non-queers, all genders and non-genders.
$5-$15 donation requested.
No one turned away for lack of funds.
